Snakes weren’t the only reptile visiting the Castro Valley Library with the Coyote Hills Naturalist Program. A lovely little box turtle named Shelby joined Fox the gopher snake to educate and entertain us. The kids learned lots of facts about reptiles and shared their own knowledge with the Naturalists. Special thanks to the wonderful Naturalists and docents with Coyote Hills Regional Park. Be sure to check out the Naturalist’s calendar and visit them soon: http://www.ebparks.org/activities/naturalists
