Cossette Sun has been a leader in the effort to replace the Castro Valley Library facility for many years.   As a member of the Castro Valley Library Advisory Committee she has played an active role in advising the County Librarian, and the County Board of Supervisors on everything from the purchase of the land, to the submission of the grant that is providing a major portion of our funding.

Now Cossette will be honored.  She has been named as the recipient of the Marion Gould Gallagher Award, which is given by the American  Association of Law Librarians in recognition of outstanding acheivement.  Congratulations Cossette, and thanks for all you have done.
