tax-forms-2008.jpg  The Castro Valley Library is one of the places you can still find  tax forms. We have both both Federal and State forms for you to come in and select at the Library, or you may follow these links to download and print what you need from the web.  For Federal forms go to the IRS Website.  California tax forms can be found at http://ftb.ca.gov/.

If you do not have to file a 2007 tax return for tax purposes, you still need to file to receive the economic stimulus payment. If you have over $3000.00 in Social Security or other qualifying income you are eligible.Find Information and Forms for Stimulus Rebate Here

csv_model3.jpg  What do the Castro Valley Library and Paul Revere have in common?  APRIL 18th.

The poem goes “on the eighteenth of April, in seventy-five, Hardly a man is still alive who remembers that famous day and year”.

That date is about to be famous for another reason here in Castro Valley.  We are finally breaking ground on our new library on Friday April 18th 2008!!

You are invited to join the  Alameda County Board of   Supervisors, and the Alameda County Library at the Ground Breaking for the New Castro Valley Library.

Please join us at 3:30 pm, 3600 Norbridge Ave. Castro Valley for this long awaited community triumph.

Jos Sances, the mural artist for the Children’s Area of our new library will be here to meet with kids & their families this Saturday at 1pm. Come and see his proposal boards and tile sample. He may also take photos of our patrons for possible inclusion in the mural!

Then stay to enjoy the comedy magic of Ashkenazi the Pretty Good who is appearing at 2pm–he’s more fun than a barrel of squid!
